Bandipur and Mudumalai close to traffic from 9 pm to 6 am. The climb from Gudalur via Naduvattam is long and steady. Outstation vehicles need a free Nilgiris e-pass, and the Kalhatti ghat via Masinagudi has been reported closed to non-local vehicles.
